TypingMind is a fast, feature-rich chat interface for ChatGPT and other large language models. Users bring their own OpenAI (or other provider) API key and get a polished UI with chat history search, custom personas, prompt libraries, plugins, and team workspaces — all without a subscription to the underlying AI provider. Built solo by developer Tony Dinh, TypingMind went from a weekend project to hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual revenue within its first year, fueled almost entirely by building in public on X. It remains a one-person operation, with Tony handling product, support, and marketing himself.
